Susannah retrained after a career in arts education, her interest in acupuncture stemmed from living in Hong Kong as a teenager and travelling in China and Japan.
Susannah previously served as Academic Director for CICM from 2018 -2022 and is currently Programme Leader for the Clinical course and for Chinese Medicine. Susannah teaches across the Clinical, Chinese Medicine and Practical Skills components of the programme.
Outside of CICM, Susannah has been an External Examiner for City College for three years and is currently a member of the BAAB Accreditation Committee. She is also a member of the Acupuncture Supervision Network and offers one to one supervision for acupuncturists. Susannah has close links with the charity My Cancer My Choices and has worked for them as a volunteer.
Susannah runs her own private practice in Cholsey, South Oxfordshire and has a particular interest in the treatment of the elderly and neurological conditions.
She has been in practice for 18 years, have a particular interest in treating the elderly and neurological conditions. Susannah also trained in Toyohari – a style of Japanese Acupuncture. She has also trained in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has a range of interests in acupuncture and have done further training in gynaecology and fertility with Zita West and Debra Betts.
