Nils Theuninck is a final year Master of Chiropractic student in the AECC School of Chiropractic at Health Sciences University.
Born in Switzerland, Nils spent many years competing professionally in elite sailing, culminating in involvement in the prestigious America’s Cup with Alinghi Red Bull Racing. After stepping away from full-time professional sailing, he returned to higher education to pursue a career in healthcare, combining his passion for human performance with a commitment to helping others.
Alongside his studies, Nils remains actively involved in high-performance sport. His long-term ambition is to build a career that bridges elite sport and clinical practice, bringing the lessons of professional competition into patient care and athlete development.
Based in Bournemouth, Nils enjoys cycling, sailing and making coffee for friends. He is passionate about continuous learning, personal development, and performing at his best in both sports and his academic journey.
