Biography

Maria Kampanella earned her BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Southampton , marking the beginning of her career in podiatry. Over the past twenty years, she has made significant contributions to the field, working in various roles within the NHS, including as a Community Specialist Podiatrist and collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT). Her dedication to promoting podiatry as a career led her to serve as an outreach fellow, building relationships with educational institutions and inspiring the next generation of podiatrists. Her extensive experience and passion for education and mentorship ultimately led her to join the faculty at HSU, where she is eager to share her knowledge and inspire students to achieve their full potential in the field of podiatric medicine.
