Doreen started working as a Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy at HSU in June 2025. Doreen is passionate about supporting students in their learning and being part of developing the future Speech and Language Therapy workforce.

Biography

Doreen completed a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy in 2010, graduating from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Doreen has been working as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for the Community NHS Trust in Hampshire since 2012.

Doreen has extensive experience working with children and young people with a range of communication differences across different settings including mainstream preschools/schools, as well as specialist education provisions, and community clinic. Since 2022, Doreen has also been working as part of a private practice in Salisbury.

Doreen started working as a Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy at HSU in June 2025. Doreen is passionate about supporting students in their learning and being part of developing the future Speech and Language Therapy workforce.
