Charlotte Brydon

Lecturer, Clinical Supervisor and Five Element Skills Program Leader

Charlotte is an experienced acupuncturist, psychotherapist and educator who has worked in Chinese medicine for more than 20 years. Her particular areas of interest are Five Element acupuncture, the therapeutic relationship and the development of perceptive and relational clinical skills.

Biography

Charlotte is an experienced acupuncturist, psychotherapist and educator who has worked in Chinese medicine for more than 20 years. Her particular areas of interest are Five Element acupuncture, the therapeutic relationship and the development of perceptive and relational clinical skills.

At HSU, Charlotte lectures in Chinese medicine and Five Element acupuncture. She is the Five Element Skills Programme Leader and also works as a clinical supervisor, supporting students to integrate theoretical understanding, sensory observation and relational awareness within clinical
practice.

Alongside her academic work, Charlotte maintains private practices in acupuncture and psychotherapy. Her teaching draws upon extensive clinical experience and explores how practitioners can develop presence, sensitivity and confidence in working with the individual patient.

Qualifications:

BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture – College of Integrated Chinese Medicine

Level 7 postgraduate training in Core Process Psychotherapy – Karuna Institute

UKCP-accredited Psychotherapist
