Anita Saethorsdottir

Lecturer

Anita is a lecturer for the UCO School of Osteopathy, with a background in strength and conditioning and a focus on functional biomechanics and sports injury rehabilitation.

Biography

Anita is originally from Iceland, she has always been passionate about the human body and its functional abilities. She qualified as a strength and conditioning trainer in 2016, helping people of all ages and backgrounds achieve their goals and improving their physical performance through exercising. This prompted her to further pursue her passion about the human body and train as an osteopath.

Anita graduated with a distinction after four years of training at the UCO. In 2023 she became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science after completing a 40 week course at the Gray Institute.

She currently works in private practice, her patient population is predominantly very active people.
