Campus Accessibility

Exterior of the University building.

We strive to make our facilities welcoming and accessible to all and are committed to making enhancements to our campuses and buildings to improve accessibility.

Please note that our Bournemouth campus has certain areas that may pose challenges for visitors with mobility needs, and some areas are currently accessible by stairs only. We are actively working to improve these features so that everyone can fully enjoy our space. If you have any specific accessibility requirements or would like more information, please contact us. We appreciate your patience as we continue to enhance our accessibility.

Our historic estate in Bournemouth provides challenges for students with a disability at this present time, particularly in the main building. We therefore aim to have supportive conversations with students who have shared a physical disability early in the recruitment process.

We have accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor, ground floor classrooms and a number of projects in the pipeline to improve the accessibility of our campus. Alternative solutions will always be considered as soon as an applicant shares a disability and every effort made to accommodate their needs.

We invite applicants to Health Sciences University with a physical disability to discuss your application with our Admissions team by emailing: admissions@aecc.ac.uk.

Current students looking for support can contact our Students Services team by emailing: studentservices@aecc.ac.uk.

You can read more about support for students with physical disabilities here.
