Edgar Susiku

Lecturer in Radiography

Edgar Susiku is a Diagnostic Radiographer and Sonographer with extensive clinical and academic experience. He lectures medical imaging courses to Radiography and Chiropractic students at the Health Sciences University (HSU). Previously, he held academic roles at Teesside University in the UK and Lusaka Medical University in Zambia and worked clinically at the Cancer Diseases Hospital in Zambia.

Biography

Originally from Zambia, Edgar has lived and worked in both Zambia and the United Kingdom. He earned a Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography (2003) from Evelyn Hone College, a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (2015) from Lusaka Apex Medical University, and an MSc in Cardiac Ultrasound (2020) from Middlesex University London. Edgar joined HSU in August 2023 to advance his passion for contributing to universal health coverage through quality health professions education. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Imaging at Bournemouth University.
