A blended-learning approach to teaching
At HSU we take a blended-learning approach to teaching with resources to support face-to-face (synchronous) teaching in both practical and in seminar sessions which can also be provided online via Moodle (the university’s virtual learning environment).
Online materials may be provided either in advance of sessions to allow students to fully prepare creating the opportunity for further learning and expansion in class or provided post-session to reinforce and support further exploration of the topic.
Importantly these materials are available for students 24/7 (asynchronous), allowing you to utilise at a time that best suits you and your learning style.

Explore your surroundings

Stroll along the bustling streets, enjoy the scenic views of the Thames, or catch a show at the renowned Globe Theatre. Seeking adventure? Explore the vibrant markets, take a river cruise, or visit nearby landmarks like the Shard and Tower Bridge.
Southwark is a hub for culture, innovation, and diverse leisure activities, making it an ideal place to live and study while immersing yourself in the heart of London.
