Shaun is currently the Vice Chairman of Private Banking at C. Hoare & Co, the UK’s oldest privately owned private bank and the fourth oldest bank in the world.
A financial services executive of 45 years standing, Shaun was born in Boscombe and, starting straight from school, spent 28 years with the NatWest/RBS Group. In the mid-nineties, as the local manager at the NatWest bank in Boscombe, Shaun set up a lending scheme to help students at the AECC UC with their fees.
During his career, Shaun spent 12 years as a Managing Director with Barclays Wealth, where he ran the Offshore Bank (Overseas Services), with responsibility for Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar and Cyprus and parts of Africa. He was also a member of the Barclays top 150 senior leadership group.
Shaun lives in Brockenhurst with his family and enjoys long distance running, walking the dog, skiing and still commutes in to London a couple of times a week.
