Dr Temiloluwa Ajibade

Accounting and Finance Lecturer

Temiloluwa is a Lecturer at the Health Business School with extensive experience in higher education across the UK and internationally. He holds a PhD in Accounting, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). With expertise in financial and management accounting, he leads and coordinates the Accounting and Finance module within the school. Temiloluwa is dedicated to promoting inclusive education and utilizing innovative learning technologies. He is passionate about enhancing student engagement and progression through research-informed, practice-focused teaching.

Biography

Temiloluwa is an academic and accounting professional with over six years of teaching, research, and advisory experience across Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He holds a BSc in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University and both an MSc and PhD in Accounting from Babcock University, Nigeria, where his work focused on advancing financial management and accounting practice through research‑driven insights. Temiloluwa has lived, studied, and worked in Nigeria before expanding his academic career to the United Kingdom. Alongside his academic work, Temiloluwa serves as a financial advisor to Illuminate Her Foundation, a Nigeria-based charitable organisation, reflecting his commitment to applying accounting expertise in support of social impact initiatives.

He is committed to driving inclusive pedagogy, student engagement, and interdisciplinary research that connects accounting, management, and the evolving needs of the health and business sectors.

Experience, Areas of interest/expertise:

Temiloluwa’s teaching experience spans multiple institutions both in the UK and internationally, including serving as an Associate Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Worcester and as a Module Lead and Lecturer at Scholars School System in partnership with Leeds Trinity University. Across these roles, he has taught and led modules in financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, and business-related subjects, with emphasis on inclusive, practice‑based, and student‑centred learning.
