Biography
Messi was employed as a Senior CT and MRI Radiographer at the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust and previously worked at Ghana’s second largest tertiary hospital (Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital) and the Cape Coast Teaching Hospitals respectively as a Diagnostic Radiography.
Messi was one of the awardees of the UK Imaging and Oncology’s Bursary Grant for early career researchers towards the attendance and presentation of an e-poster at the UKIO 2023 congress held in Liverpool. He is passionate about teaching, mentoring and research that improves patient’s care and safety, clinical education and evidence-based clinical practice. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Medical Imaging and Radiography at the Bournemouth University.
Current Activity
Messi is currently a Lecturer on the Diagnostic Radiography programme and also a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy.

Areas of Interest
Messi’s research interests revolves around neurovascular imaging, image interpretation, and environmentally sustainable clinical radiology and radiotherapy practice.
